Pizza Pre-Game

There is no better food than pizza before going out to party while in college. Or any day. Making your own is fast, cheap and is easily shared between friends. I totally get ordering pizza- online ordering is one of the greatest/worst things ever invented- but it can take forever and you either have to pay for delivery or go get it to save a tip.

If I was at home, this dough would have been planned out by my dad and hand-tossed and delicious, but now that I am by myself in college I have resorted to the Doughboy. Those Pillsbury rolls are only $2.79 at Publix and super convenient. That, and it cooks at 400* so everything gets really toasty and delicious.

Pre Game Pizza

  • 1 Pillsbury pizza dough
  • 1 tbs Olive Oil
  • 1/2 cup of italian cheese (Parmesan, Romano, Mozzarella…)
  • 1 medium tomato- sliced (and no seeds!)
  • 2 tsp italian seasoning
  1. Roll the dough out lengthwise on a cookie sheet and bake the dough for 5 minutes at 400* (the dough won’t be cooked but the top should be hardened enough to put toppings)
  2. Take the cookie sheet out and brush the dough with olive oil, top with the tomatoes, sprinkle with cheese and herbs
  3. Put back in the oven for 12 minutes or until it is crispy and brown and delicious!
  4. Enjoy with friends! (Friends required)
