The Wolfpack

I have two of the most wonderful friends in the world. We may be silly and fun and talk at each other instead of with each other, but we care about each other a lot. College is proving to be emotionally trying for all of us as we are figuring ourselves out and dealing with people who don’t care about us. We are learning that there are going to be quite a few of those in our lives.

So we made these frames so we can put cute little pictures of all of us in them. So one day, if people are awful and make us cry or we are feeling a bit lonely we can put these frames on our bedside tables and be reminded that there are people that love us, even if the people in the frames caused the problem in the first place.

This might be a sappy post, but I was reminded today that people need each other, especially when we are far away from everything familiar and getting off on our own footing while off at school. Find those people who will care about you no matter what and call at three in the morning and know they will try their best to listen. Keep these people close and make frames for them, or whatever.
